I looked at the JW.Org "news". All the disasters have help being provided by "3 near by congregations", "local brothers", "housed in homes of other publishers", "tree removal crews", under direction of the branch(es). Spiritual upbilding is being provided by CO's and others. Not one penny can you find that the society has sent to do anything; maybe the best you may find is a mobile kitchen and bathroom setup being used, if it wasn't sold during the RBC auction.

Disaster Relief Funds
by StephaneLaliberte inif the need for relief is beyond what the congregations in the area can provide, the governing body of jehovah’s witnesses arranges to supply what is needed.
[...] since the work is performed by unpaid volunteers, the funds that are allocated go toward actual relief, not administrative expenses.

BS stories in the publications
by Billzfan23 inthis is an example of a story that just strikes me as funny from their publications:.
"wilson, a christian from ghana, was notified that in a few days, he would be fired from his job.
on his final day at work, he was assigned to wash the private car of the managing director of the company.

Vidiot local unemployment is funded by a tax on employment, the employer pays according to wages, and also to how often someone has to draw againste being unemployed by that company. So if a person quits it does not make a mark against the employer and raise his taxes.
Best part is he told one guy to "take a day off and think about things" after catching him goofing off. The guy was a clown, but when there was a job to get out, he did it. The guy took the day off and found a job with higher pay and benefits. LOL

medical directives
by road to nowhere ini just took a good look at the "blood card".
it is cartoonish with the x'd out blood bag.
and a sample directive from the hospital is a way better form for making wishes known.

JW's Would Stay With The Org Even If 1914 Was Dropped
by pale.emperor ini asked the question on quora: .
if the governing body abandoned the 1914 teaching, would you leave jehovah's witnesses or you would remain a member regardless?.

We Trump supporters do not believe everything he says. Nor do we believe everything the opposition says. So far most ofr the penalties for disagreeing have come from the PC crowd the same as disagreeing with the WT has penalties (see the thread about shunning "weak" members). It is not like we got any viable choices.

what recourse do you have if the work done by volunteers is substandard? And be sure that the little old lady across the street who got a roof even while not being a witness will get a big mention. but not all the ones turned away.
They will not even coordinate what food/material distribution they do with any other relief workers so (as they say) "nothing is wasted".

The Wheels On The Bus ...
by Solzhenitsyn inthe wt for this upcoming sunday 10/07 is especially precious in its standard double speak.
aren't we so grateful to the f&ds who directly mediates our relationship with jesus christ and give us the food we need at the proper time?
i dunno....maybe i have anger issues with the the wt?.

quote: We may begin to feel that we can look at a situation and understand it even though we do not have all the facts
But we have been around long enough to know how things work and been down that road before.
As for their newsroom; it is slow, behind time on events, and gives few details if anything is mentioned at all. Don't forget the obvious spin.
They are their own worst enemy. The first times I browsed here was because there was NO information on things coming out. And I needed a Kingdom Ministry they would not give me (I was in good standing), so found out that you could find copies in the internet

I had a boss who would try everything to get you mad so you quit and were not qualified for unemployment, other than that, just walk out.
I have seen the same story with because: "I am Mormon, Buddhist, Christian, HareKrishna, Athiest" Some people ARE honest.
As for Andre; he disappeared when the comments about him here started, so I am sure someone high up PIMI reads this thing. Most of the experiences are enhanced at least, most are outright fabrications.

Here you are taken from multiple lists. Supposed to be only once a year, but I got 2x once. It is an interesting thing, and I think I am fair minded. As for excuses, it must be a doctor note, or moved. I wonder what they do with dead people that do not send in death certificates
